Free to Fail

by Dave Miller

Previous Conclusion.3

Isn’t it freeing, empowering even, to know that God does not judge our best by the outcomes only he can control? I am free to try. I am free to fail.

As Dallas Willard wrote:

“We feel like we have to make it happen, and that’s what we have to lay down. We don’t make it happen, we turn it loose. Whatever we are doing for the Lord, we let him carry through with it.”[1]

And you and I can be assured that God will bring to completion all he desires in me and through me. Let the words of Romans 8:28-31 resonate in your soul:

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

God always gets what God wants. So take the easy way, where the yoke is light, the risk is high, the rewards incredible, and the earth is filled with the glory of the only Son of God among every tribe tongue and people until there is #NoPlaceLeft.

Swallow the lump in your throat.

Take the next step and watch what God will do…

Until there's #NoPlaceLeft...
